Our Partners

IMPACT - Imaging Mammographic Proficiency and Clinical Technique was originally a 3 day on site clinical and educational workshop initially driven and co-lead by Don Kelly, Director RAB, to improve the technique, proficiency and quality of mammography with partner nations. As with many of our projects, our first educational mission to Samoa in March 2020 was cancelled due to Covid-19.
Our objective is to provide upskilling in mammographic technique and interpretation to aid diagnosis.
This year’s virtual IMPACT conference goal is to expand the knowledge and and improve imaging techniques from some of the worlds top experts in their fields. The event will offer clinical approaches relevant to both the technologist and radiologist, whilst introducing case management and problem solving tools to participants.
Radiology Across Borders educates and trains local clinicians in developing nations to use the power of radiology to save lives.
“As a global charity, diversity and inclusivity are fundamental to the work of Radiology Across Borders . Our volunteers from around the globe bring their diverse backgrounds together to share their knowledge, skills and experience to uplift other clinicians who also come from many different cultures, genders, racial backgrounds, sexual orientations and religions . Together we unite in our vision to provide quality support to healthcare providers and patients to the best of our ability.
Radiology Across Borders functions and thrives wholeheartedly under the pillars of diversity, inclusivity and respect for all."
