Ian is an experienced MRI radiographer with 11 years clinical MRI experience at 1.5T and 3T. Having completed his Bachelor of Science (Honours) at Portsmouth University in the UK, Ian moved to Australia working in various MRI roles at Queensland X-ray. Ian is currently an MRI application Specialist at Siemens Healthineers, a role he has held since 2015. Ian has achieved his Level 1 Accreditation in the Siemens Application Specialist Education Program and has extensive experience in MSK, Prostate, Research, Cardiac, Neuro and Body imaging.
An introduction to Neuro MRI and sequence creation to image neurological conditions. The lecture will identify what sequences will become part of your routine protocol to successfully image the normal brain and common pathologies. Common imaging techniques will be discussed as well as Diffusion - DWI, Dark Fluid and Susceptibility Imaging. Neuro MRI is such a critical service to do well - please register to learn more!
