Paeds VITAL Programme

History

Over the last 10 years, Radiology Across Borders has delivered many on-site lecture series in developing nations throughout the Indo-Pacific region with paediatric imaging forming a core component of this teaching.

The first Paeds VITAL conference was scheduled to be held on site in Fiji in 2020 but this was not possible.

Due to COVID 19, on-site training is not an option presently and thus we offer a one-day intensive Virtual Paediatric Imaging conference. This event will cover a range of relevant and practical topics incorporating common clinical scenarios. This virtual conference offers participants both comprehensive didactic learning as well as three question and answer sessions with subspecialty paediatric radiologists and sonographers.

The Paeds VITAL Virtual Conference was aimed at all radiologists, doctors and technicians in developing nations. Those from developed nations, particularly with an interest in paediatric imaging, will also benefit.

The conference covered a broad range of topics with an emphasis on a practical approach to paediatric imaging. Lectures were given by paediatric radiologists and sonographers.
