Practical Ultrasound Training Programme

2021 Lectures

History

The Radiology Across Border’s Vital Project was launched in 2017, the aim of the project was to give didactic lectures and hands on training in Obstetric, Gynaecology and Breast Ultrasound to our partner nations, with this in mind teams of Sonographers travelled to Samoa 2017, Fiji 2018 and Vietnam in 2019.

The Sonographers spent a week in each country providing valuable training. These sessions were deemed a success on both sides and future projects were planned for 2020, consequently these programmes have been delayed until COVID-19 travel restrictions are lifted. In the mean time to continue our commitment to education and training we have planned a VITAL VIRTUAL Conference.
