Our Partners

Radiology Across Borders started on 11th January 2010, when a small group of radiologist boarded a plane in Sydney, and flew over the Pacific to Fiji.
A series of lectures followed, local doctors learned the basics of Radiology, and we were off and running.
Since then we’ve broadened our reach, expanding across the Pacific and into Asia. Radiologists and clinicians from Australia, New Zealand and around the world have joined us, volunteering their time and expertise to support the mission.
The mission was simple... To save lives in developing nations by teaching radiology techniques to local healthcare professionals
In 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we believe it is unlikely that international travel will re-establish to the extent that we can have on-site conferences in our recipient nations. To mitigate this, we will be having six virtual conferences. Three will be based around radiologists’ sessions. The other three will be for the Vital Project, Paeds Vital Project and Impact.
These sessions will be held over six separate weekends during the course of the year. CPD points will still be provided. We imagine there will be very big turnouts as the sessions will be made available to all globally and as always will be free to attend.
Once the virtual conference is complete all the sessions will be made available through the RAB library.
We believe in the power of education to change the world.
Radiology Across Borders educates and trains local clinicians in developing nations to use the power of radiology to save lives.
“As a global charity, diversity and inclusivity are fundamental to the work of Radiology Across Borders . Our volunteers from around the globe bring their diverse backgrounds together to share their knowledge, skills and experience to uplift other clinicians who also come from many different cultures, genders, racial backgrounds, sexual orientations and religions . Together we unite in our vision to provide quality support to healthcare providers and patients to the best of our ability.
Radiology Across Borders functions and thrives wholeheartedly under the pillars of diversity, inclusivity and respect for all."
